Hi, I'm Christine, the heart and hands behind Whimsical Delights! Since I was eight years old, owning a deli or food service has been a lifelong dream. I remember putting together my first "business plan" in a notebook when I was just ten, dreaming up recipes and imagining a place where I could share my passion for cooking.
In October 2023, I began making fudge while working full-time, but after an unexpected job loss, I decided to turn my love of cooking into a full-fledged business. Whimsical Delights was born! My background spans years of experience, from my start at the Gondola Deli in White River Junction to becoming Food Service Director for the Hanover, New Hampshire school district. When schools began outsourcing food services, I found myself returning to my roots: preparing homemade, heart-filled meals that bring people together.
Whimsical Delights offers a fresh, weekly menu featuring generous portions, including two salads, a soup, two quiches, a couple of main entrées, and a dessert. I use local ingredients whenever possible—from Vermont maple syrup to the freshest produce. Everything is made from scratch, even down to the salad dressings, with gluten-free options available on request.
Today, I’m proud to have Whimsical Delights products featured in several local stores, including Jake’s Markets, Cravin’s at DHMC, and Fraser’s in Windsor, Vermont. I’m licensed in Vermont, and my home base is in West Windsor/Brownsville, Vermont.
Cooking is more than a job for me; it’s a way to share a bit of joy and love. They say never to trust a skinny cook—lucky for you, I’m here to share the best of my kitchen, one delicious meal at a time!

Whimsical Delights offers a weekly menu of delicious, home-cooked meals delivered straight to your door or available in select local stores. Every dish is prepared from scratch with quality ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible, including pure Vermont maple syrup and fresh, local produce. Each meal is made with care and a passion for bringing families together around wholesome, satisfying food.
Our generous portions feed 4 to 8 people, ideal for family dinners or gatherings. The rotating menu includes two fresh salads, one hearty soup, two varieties of quiche, a selection of main entrées, and a homemade dessert to complete the meal. With options like gluten-free upon request, Whimsical Delights caters to a range of dietary needs while staying true to the flavors and comfort of home cooking.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, card and Venmo. Credit card payments incur a 4% processing fee. Venmo incurs a 3% processing fee.

Our menu comes out on FRIDAY and orders are due by Sunday to guarantee delivery Friday.
